International girl child day was celebrated at Infant Jesus school, Shankarwadi, off Western Express Highway, Jogeshwari east . 180 school girls attended the program. The Chief guest of the event was Captain Pradeep Correa and he delivered an inspirational and motivating talk to girls. Executive Director of Holy
Spirit Hospital Sister Lissy spoke to girls on following their dreams and encouraged them to pursue what the heart desires. Psychiatrist Dr Surekha Bajaj
spoke on emotional health and had interactive session with girls. Spot prizes were given to encourage interaction and doubt solving for the girls. Medical
Director of Holy Spirit Hospital Dr Susan Sodder spoke on Adolescence. And kept the girls engrossed with her.
Joyalukkas foundation sponsored refreshments and gave sanitary pads as gift hamper to all the participants girls. Aids Combat and Lions club of Mumbai
Mahavir Nagar charitable trust sponsored sanitary pads and artificial earnings for all girls .
Dr Anu Aurora was master of ceremony.
Nurses Deepali , Nurse Josy , social worker Nino, Deepak helped in making the programme successful.
Not to forget Father Xaviers and father Daniel, head mistress Ms Lilian Fernandes of school graced the occasion. We are grateful to them.
Director- Supportive Services of Holy Spirit Hospital Sister Elsy guided the team throughout to make the program a huge success. The prayer dance and skit was presented by Holy spirit Hospital Nursing Institute students.
The program concluded with a Vote of thanks by Dr Lala.
