The Department of Respiratory Medicine at Holy Spirit Hospital offers expert, compassionate, and personalised care for the full spectrum of pulmonary and sleep-related conditions. Our facilities include state-of-the-art pulmonary function testing (PFT), bronchoscopy, sleep studies (polysomnography), non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and imaging support for comprehensive care.

Services
Key Services: Specialist Pulmonary Clinics: Dedicated outpatient services to manage all types of lung and respiratory conditions Domiciliary Oxygen Clinic: Assessment and ongoing management of supplemental oxygen needs in the home setting Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) Clinic: Evaluation and monitoring of patients requiring home ventilator support Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT): Including lung volumes, flow rates, airway resistance, bronchoprovocation testing, bronchodilator response, and diffusing capacity Additional Assessments: Six-minute walk test, exercise oximetry, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and respiratory muscle strength testing (especially for neuromuscular disorders) Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program: A structured rehabilitation plan in collaboration with our Physiotherapy Department to improve lung function and quality of life Bronchoscopy Services: Including conventional bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) for diagnosing and staging lung cancer and mediastinal diseases Medical Thoracoscopy: Minimally invasive procedure to evaluate and diagnose pleural diseases such as tuberculosis, pleural effusions, and lung/pleural cancers
