Overview

Specialised Musculoskeletal Care for Children

The Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics at Holy Spirit Hospital offers specialised care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in children—from newborns to adolescents. Our services encompass inpatient and day-care surgical care, post-operative rehabilitation, and access to orthotic and prosthetic support, ensuring a comprehensive healing journey for every child.

Our team of highly qualified and experienced paediatric orthopaedic specialists is equipped to handle all orthopaedic sub-specialties. We work closely with departments such as radiology, pathology, paediatric intensive care, sports medicine, and physiotherapy to deliver holistic and multidisciplinary care.

We are committed to early diagnosis and timely intervention. Our clinical screening programs and selective ultrasound screening services help identify orthopaedic conditions early, enabling prompt and effective treatment to prevent long-term complications.

The department is equipped to perform some of the most advanced paediatric orthopaedic procedures, including complex deformity corrections with state-of-the-art computer-assisted ring fixators, epiphysiodesis, and surgeries such as Ganz osteotomy and surgical hip dislocation. We also offer minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery to address modern paediatric orthopaedic disorders with precision and minimal discomfort.

At Holy Spirit Hospital, our goal is not just to treat—but to restore mobility, confidence, and quality of life for every child through compassionate, cutting-edge, and child-friendly orthopaedic care.

These technologies enable precise analysis of movement patterns, helping to guide both non-surgical therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Surgical Support Infrastructure

To ensure seamless care for children requiring operative intervention:

  • We have modular operation theatres built to international standards, ensuring sterility, safety, and optimal surgical outcomes.
