In line with our mission of compassionate and inclusive healthcare, the Department of Cleft and Maxillofacial Surgery offers completely free surgical treatment for children and adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial deformities.
What is Cleft and Maxillofacial Surgery?
Cleft lip and cleft palate are among the most common congenital conditions affecting facial structure. These conditions can lead to:
Difficulty in feeding and speaking
Frequent ear infections and dental issues
Psychological and social challenges due to appearance
