Overview
At Holy Spirit Hospital, the Scientific Research Committee (SRC) plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of research, innovation, and evidence-based clinical practice. The committee is committed to supporting high-quality scientific research that contributes to the advancement of medical knowledge and the improvement of patient care.
Our Objectives:
- To promote and facilitate ethically sound and scientifically valid research
- To review and approve research proposals in accordance with national and institutional guidelines
- To encourage interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical and academic research
- To ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- To create an environment that nurtures research among clinicians, residents, and students
Key Functions:
- Evaluation of research protocols submitted by departments and investigators
- Guidance on research methodology, data collection, and analysis
- Monitoring of ongoing studies for adherence to approved protocols
- Organizing research orientation programs, training workshops, and scientific conferences
- Publication support and promotion of research findings in peer-reviewed journals
