Our Departments
Clinical Psychology
Overview
Clinical psychology is a branch of psychology focused on understanding, diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. It combines science, theory, and clinical knowledge to help individuals improve their psychological well-being and manage mental health challenges.
Clinical psychologists do not prescribe medication (except in some countries with specific training and certification).
They are different from psychiatrists, who are medical doctors. Our clinical psychology department plays a vital role in promoting mental health, offering support to those struggling with psychological issues, and contributing to a more emotionally healthy society.
