Cardiovascular Thoracic
Overview
The Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) Unit provides comprehensive surgical care for disorders involving the heart, lungs, esophagus, and major blood vessels. It is a highly specialized department that works in close coordination with cardiology, pulmonology, and critical care teams. The CVTS unit plays a crucial role in managing complex conditions such as coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defects, aortic aneurysms, and thoracic tumors through both open and minimally invasive techniques.
