Room Charges
Ensure accurate entry of patient information — including full name, age, gender, religion, residential address, contact number, and other relevant details — at the time of admission. Please note: changes to these details cannot be made once the admission process is completed.
A security deposit is mandatory for all patients seeking admission, regardless of the nature of treatment.
Interim billing may be issued periodically if the accumulated hospital charges exceed the initial deposit amount.
Non-refundable admission fees apply to all patients admitted for inpatient care.
- Admission to any room type is subject to availability.

CHARGES FOR INDOOR PATIENTS
- Bed charges are payable as per the tariff structure.
- Treatment charges vary according to the class of occupancy. If required, an initial estimate can be obtained from the Surgical Cordinator (Room NO: 65A) and the final estimate from the Billing Department.
- In case of Surgery, the surgery charges are to be paid in advance besides Admission Deposit.
- Booking of Bed and Operation Theatre are subject to availability or as per emergency.
- Room charges are inclusive of bed charges, patient meals, nursing care and care by resident doctors.
- Any bed that has been occupied for more than 6 hrs. will incur full day charges. Likewise, any bed occupied for less than 6 hrs. will charged for half day charges.
- Medicines and consumables should be procured from the hospital only and not from outside.
- ICU bed charges include accommodation and patient monitoring service. Charges for Intensivist’s consultation, consumables and procedure, ventilators would be charged separately.
- Day Care timings are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Any Day Care patient requiring overnight stay will be admitted and charged on basis of the room type selected.
- NRI & Foreign Nationals will be admitted in Twin Sharing & above rooms.
MODE OF PAYMENT
All payments to the hospital to be made in Cash/DD/NEFT/RTGS/UPI only. Credit and Debit cards are accepted.
• Cheques are accepted from companies. On exceptional cases, personal cheques are accepted subject to realization
- Once the bill has exceeded the deposit amount, you must make the payment of another deposit plus the balance amount if any (as per the class of admissions).
- Payments can be made on the ground floor billing counter which is 24X7
- In case of longer duration of stay in the hospital, we request you to check your billing status at the billing counter on ground floor after every 2 to 3 days, to get information about the progress of the bill. Please make payments regularly once every 2-3 days for mutual convenience.
TRANSFER OF THE PATIENT
- Kindly contact the admission counter to apply for a bed transfer request.
At the time of transfer from the ICU to the ward, the patient needs to clear the whole bill before the transfer and needs to pay the deposit for the ward he is being transferred.
If required, patient can be transferred to any ward or internally in the same ward also. In case of non-payment patient can be shifted to the lower ward.
From Lower Class to Higher Class:
- Bed charges will be as per tariff from the date of change of class.
- Treatment charges including surgical charges, if any, will be as per higher class with retrospective effect.
From Higher Class to Lower Class:
- Bed charges will be as per tariff from the date of change of class.
- Treatment charges will also be from the date of change of class. But in case of surgery, if the patient is taken for surgery from higher class and wants to shift to lower class after the surgery, then he will be charged for higher class. After the surgery and transfer to the lower-class adjustment, all charges will be of the lower class from the date of change.
- Room charges are as available but for the day of transfer, the longer hours occupied bed charges are applicable.

Discharge Process:
The discharge process is initiated only by your treating consultant.
Room charges are calculated based on a check-in/check-out time of 11:59 PM.
Charges apply according to the bed category selected at the time of admission.
Room charges include bed occupancy, nursing care, meals for the patient, and care by resident doctors.
Billing Guidelines:
Beds occupied for more than 6 hours will be charged as a full day.
Beds occupied for less than 6 hours will be charged as half day.
For patients using cashless insurance services, please allow an additional 3–4 hours for final approval from your insurer.
Patient Experience Executives, available on each floor (from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM), will assist you with:
Billing queries
Statements of Account (SOA) every 48 hours
Collecting payments during your stay
Coordinating the discharge process and handing over the final bill and documents in your room
Emergency Charges:
A 25% emergency surcharge is applicable for doctor visits or procedures conducted:
On Sundays or hospital holidays
After departmental working hours (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)
On an emergency basis
International Patients:
Patients not holding an Indian passport will be billed as per international tariff rates.
Refund Policy:
Refunds above ₹10,000 will be processed via NEFT/electronic transfer within 24 hours.
Kindly submit a cancelled cheque in the name of the patient or registered next of kin before discharge.
Refunds will be made in the patient’s name only.
If the refund is to be issued in the name of a legal heir (spouse, parent, or child), the following are required:Aadhaar card
Proof of relationship
Cancelled cheque
For insurance cases, the security deposit will be refunded after:
Receipt of the final approval/settlement amount from your insurance provider
Necessary deductions as per the terms of your policy
GST Notification:
As per Ministry of Finance Notification No. 03/2022 dated 13th July 2022, room charges exceeding ₹5,000/day (non-ICU) will attract 5% GST.
GST is applicable in addition to the standard room charges mentioned in the Statement of Charges (SOC).
