At the Emergency Department of Holy Spirit Hospital, we believe in a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care. Our team works closely with specialists from various departments, including surgery, cardiology, neurology, and paediatrics, to ensure that patients receive the most comprehensive treatment, especially in complex or multi-system emergencies. This coordination allows us to tailor our care to the specific needs of each patient, providing expert interventions across multiple medical disciplines.
Once the immediate medical condition is addressed, we also prioritize patient education. Our team takes the time to inform patients about managing their health, preventing further emergencies, and following up on their recovery. We provide clear instructions on what to do after leaving the hospital, and whenever necessary, we coordinate with primary care providers or other specialists to ensure continuity of care and a smooth transition to post-emergency treatment.

Student testimonials
The Orthopaedics Department is led by a team of dedicated and highly experienced consultants who are not only exceptional surgeons but also passionate teachers. Under their guidance, I have gained hands-on exposure to a wide variety of cases—from routine fractures to complex joint replacements and trauma surgeries. The emphasis on academic rigor, regular case presentations, journal clubs, and interactive teaching sessions have helped sharpen my clinical acumen and surgical skills.
What sets Holy Spirit Hospital apart is its holistic approach to healthcare. The interdepartmental coordination, ethical practices, and patient-centric care have deeply influenced my perspective as a doctor. The hospital's charitable outlook and commitment to serving the underprivileged further reinforced the values with which I entered this profession.
Apart from academics, life here is fulfilling. There is a strong sense of community among the residents, staff, and faculty. We support each other during emergencies, celebrate achievements together, and learn from each other's experiences. I am grateful to Holy Spirit Hospital for shaping me into a confident, compassionate, and skilled orthopaedic surgeon. It has been a privilege to learn and grow here.
