Quality never to be compromised. In view of this Holy Spirit Hospital began its process for NABH Accreditation in the year 2009. On 19th July 2010 Holy Spirit Hospital received NABH Accreditation Certificate from Quality Council in India.

Holy Spirit Hospital was 4th in Mumbai and 45th in India to receive NABH Accreditation. This three years valid accreditation is renewed by a Reassessment and prior to that a Surveillance Assessment by the NABH Assessor's Team. The first re-accreditation was in 2013 and the second in the year 2016.

NABH core team along with the support of management and staff consistently work for implementation of Quality Standards across the organisation. Quality standards basically focus on patient safety. Quality Indicators are monitored monthly. Patient's feed back form report is discussed & corrective actions takes on monthly basis. Patient safety goals are followed while providing care and treatment. Our focus is our patient.

Holy Spirit Hospital is now an NABH Nursing Excellence Certified Hospital. We are the 12th hospital in India, 2nd in Maharashtra and 1st among Christian hospitals to receive the prestigious award.

Nursing Excellence standards have been framed with a view to lay down the guidelines for evaluating the nursing services being provided by the health care organization. They will help regulating, guiding and promoting professional nursing practice.

Patients are the biggest beneficiary among all the stakeholders. The patients are serviced by credential nursing staff which results in high quality of care and patient safety.

This certification programme stimulates continuous improvement. It enables the hospital in demonstrating commitment to quality care. It raises community confidence in the services provided by the hospital. It also provides opportunity to healthcare units to benchmark with the best.

Finally, the standards help to build a quality culture at all levels and across all the functions of the hospital.
Holy Spirit Hospital was honoured with the prestigious "Mother Teresa Sadbhavana Award” a Certificate of Excellence by Global Achievers Foundation, New Delhi, on 10th August 2015. The coveted award is conferred for outstanding Individual Achievement and Distinguished Services to the Society and to the Nation.

The Former Director CBI (India) S Joginder Singh, IPS (Retd), Former Ambassador/Diplomat Dr VB Soni IFS (Retd) and more were present during the Award presentation ceremony.

TB anywhere is TB everywhere. Multidrug resistant TB poses grave threat to a population. The problem is quite acute in Mumbai. To fight this menace Holy Spirit Hospital has launched a vibrant holistic program for detection and control of TB, which includes universal access, nutritional support, laboratory capability, building and working together with other healthcare providers.

Holy Spirit Hospital has collaborated with PPI in this regard. In recognition of meticulous contribution Holy Spirit Hospital was awarded a certificate of Merit on 23rd March 2015.
Holy Spirit Hospital is a proud recipient of the CFBP awards in the year 2010 awarded by the council of Fair Business Practices in recognition of their distinguished contribution to the promotion of the code of conduct of the council.
Hospital has a very spacious inbuilt kitchen which caters to all inpatients and staff canteen which is managed by qualified & experienced dietetic team. Holy Spirit Hospital Kitchen is FSSA 2006 (FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS ACT 2006) Accredited by FDA, Maharashtra. Three Food samples of milk and prepared patient’s dinner Soup & Kabuli chana (Chickpea) gravy vegetable were collected & checked by FDA authorities in their laboratory and found to be safe for consumption according to their norms. The preparation area was found to be very clean and tidy. Standards of high quality were followed by the personals.
